When first arriving in Singapore, my wife and I were looking for a positive environment where our son, Zikri, could grow and enjoy learning. He was three years old at the time, had difficulties with communicating and had other issues that required additional help and support. We discovered Kaleidoscope and felt that with its long history and experience of over 15+ years, it would be the ideal therapy centre to help him.
From the beginning, the team greeted us with a warm welcome and the whole process of enquiring, applying and assessments was smooth and stress free. We were pleasantly surprised with the many different indoor gyms that we just knew Zikri would love to play in and explore. We were impressed and knew it was the best option for our child.
What attracted us to Kaleidoscope was the intimate settings of the centre, small class sizes, and student to teacher ratio which gave us the reassurance that Zikri would get the proper support and attention he needed.
As this was a new school environment for Zikri, all the teachers helped to reduce his anxiety and made him feel welcomed from the start. Needless to say, our son settled in extremely well.
The main highlight that we have experienced over the two years here is how we personally have been so satisfied with the quality of their teachers and therapists. They are all very passionate in their work, extremely approachable, show genuine concern in wanting to help the children and above all, they genuinely aspire to be a part of Zikri’s growth and progression. From the class teachers to the different Occupational and Speech therapists, everyone here knows all the children and works hard to help each child thrive and reach their fullest potential.
We are so grateful that Zikri gets to experience the joy of learning and we love seeing his smiling face in the mornings to get to school. He has grown so much the past two years, he is more communicative to everyone , more aware of his surroundings, his teachers and his peers. We are so happy with his progress!
As a parent, we completely understand how hard it was at the early stages of looking for a trusted therapy centre that truly understood our child’s needs, and from our experience, we wholeheartedly would definitely recommend Kaleidoscope to other parents who are going through a similar situation as us.

Our son came to RLG when he was three years plus. At that time, our son had communication problems. His social skills were lagging behind peers. He also had typical characteristics of children on the spectrum, such as narrow interests and stereotypical behaviours.
After eight months of intervention at RLG, our son was able to successfully return to mainstream kindergarten. After only eight months, our son seems like a different person! He is now very lively, even makes humorous jokes. He loves different picture and story books. His English is also much better, not only can he communicate normally, but he can also act out some of the picture book clips. Socially, he has also improved tremendously and can now greet strangers and play different kinds of games with different children. His stereotypical behaviour has also decreased a lot. His interests have also increased a lot and he can play with different games and toys. I can say that his progress is very remarkable!
We are extremely grateful to all the teachers at RLG, the speech therapists, the occupational therapists, physio therapist, teaching assistants, admin and operation, as well as the amazing directors, all of whom are very passionate, patient and caring for children with special needs. I can see in their eyes the selfless love they have for the children. This is very rare and precious in today’s competitive society.
It is important to know that special children and their families, need extra care. Parents have to take on more responsibility, spend more time and energy, and face more parenting issues than they would with a normal child. But the teachers at the school are very professional and have specialized interventions to help children progress little by little. For example, they communicate with parents, follow up on their children’s progress every day and every week, tell them how they are doing in school, and give us lots of actionable advice and home practice tips. For example, they often hold meetings with parents to understand their problems and struggles, and answer their questions. They also lend us books to read and give us a lot of specific advice. I feel that good communication between parents and teachers, working together, is what brightens the future of these children. RLG is extremely trustworthy and highly recommendable.
We sincerely thank RLG and wish it the best! We also hope that more children with special needs will grow and improve at RLG and more families will benefit from the help and support from RLG.
Tamlyn has been wonderful for our dear N. Where we were constantly worried and fretting about N’s ability to keep up with his peers, Tamlyn was not only able to guide N through his issues but he managed to excel through them and today we can’t see any discernible difference between N and N’s peers.

Ready Let’s Go has been a blessing to our family. Our daughter Vivian has many therapy needs, and these can all be met at Kaleidoscope’s Ready Let’s Go program. We have been impressed by the training of the therapists and by their personal care and concern for our Vivian. They work hard and creatively to come up with options to help Vivi reach her fullest potential. They are always willing to help us think through equipment choices, home activities and routines and needed medical care. We rely on them for their wealth of knowledge and experience and appreciate their deep concern and thorough care for Vivian. While Vivian has a plethora of physical needs, she is integrated into daily RLG activities and is encouraged to try new things, despite her physical challenges. We are thankful for an amazing team of therapists and teachers at RLG and would highly recommend this program to others.

We were moving from one therapy center to another and were really not able to find a good place with experienced therapists who could connect with our son well till we reached Kaleidoscope and met Liza and Kris.
They have connected so well with him and he is happy to come every Saturday to meet them for the therapy session and has shown remarkable progress under their care. They have been so engaged, patient and warm with him that he is always looking forward to the weekend session with them.

She listened to all the issues, understood our expectations and set clear goals after each session. The home visits were very helpful to observe and understand our toddler’s play environment. The suggested simple exercises, shoes & changes to play area started showing results in no time. She was very responsive even between sessions and followed up all my queries. Today my daughter is walking independently. I’m very thankful for all the support and most importantly for personal consultation which was the driving factor in our case.
I’m elated to share that the therapy sessions had helped my child make vast improvement in his speech within a short span of 2 months. Am very grateful to my therapist, Isabel Tan. Her expertise in identifying and understanding the child’s needs help in curating the right activity for each session. My child is also very comfortable with her since Day 1 of the session!

Ms Judith has been working with our son for a number of years. The occupational therapy and advice has been very effective, targeted and creative and thanks to this he has made enormous progress. We have found Ms Judith and Kaleidoscope a reliable partner in our son’s development and have really appreciated her dedicated and professional work ethic.
What a relief to have found Kaleidoscope’s EIP : Ready Let’s Go! Previously we were in the States and struggling to figure out how we could help our son…it was difficult to get appointments and be seen more than once a month (and that was just with the speech therapist)!!! As soon as we knew we were coming to Singapore, I was on the hunt for a therapy center. I contacted several programs, and got great email responses from Kaleidoscope from the get go.
Once we got to Singapore, we visited a few of the places on my shortlist…and of course, Kaleidoscope’s EIP: Ready Let’s Go program won hands down. It may seem expensive, but you get what you pay for. My son has both speech and occupational therapy and is now able to concentrate on you when you speak to him… and you can have an actual conversation! He is more aware of his body and after a great resistance to toilet training him…with the help of the wonderful encouragement of teacher Linda he now has no issues with the bathroom department!
Even during the circuit breaker, our speech and occupational therapists (Kate & Mairead) went above and beyond, and persisted on Skype/Zoom to keep the therapy up. It all really has helped. My son also loved watching all the music videos from Ms Zanel.
Apart from all the other therapies, there are extra teachers on hand that really care for the kids and really get to know their personalities (mine is exceptionally cheeky) and it’s always nice to be greeted very cheerily every morning and afternoon!
Funnily enough, I was reading my son’s first report from the States today and he has just come on leaps and bounds and is now ready to be integrated into a proper school life! All thanks to the team at Ready Let’s Go.
I feel like I have been really lucky to have come here, perhaps kismet. This has been an important part of my son’s development to help him succeed. On the plus side for me, I have also made some great friends through Ready Let’s Go. Meeting the other parents who are going through exactly what you are going through just makes it easier, someone else understands the ups and the downs that you as a parent are going through. So you help the child but also the parents can benefit personally too.

Thank you for your wonderful teaching and behaviour therapy methods, which transformed my son from non-verbal to a verbal child. When my son joined he had no words in his repository except for baby talk even at 3+ years age. We could still remember the first word “more” with actions, we were delighted to hear that at the time. Now it is hard to stop him from singing or repeating words except he needs to come out from Echolia.
We still remember the different types of blow whistles given to us to strengthen my son’s jaws muscles and also air blowing. His behaviour changed significantly from a tantrum throwing boy, to much more calm down version. Although there is still a long way to go, this has given us hope that better days are ahead.
We would like to thank Kate, Judith, Sharon and Zanel for their wonderful insights and efforts put in that enabled my son to improve in speech and behaviour.
