Senior Physiotherapist
Leong Yi Lin
I am a dedicated pediatric physiotherapist from Singapore with over a decade of experience working with children. Holding a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from South Australia, and Masters in Paediatric Physiotherapy (Distinction) from UCL London, I have dedicated the first 10 years of my career at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, addressing a wide range of gross motor difficulties and developmental challenges.
My expertise involves close collaboration with neonatologist, paediatricians, neurologist, rehabilitation physicians as well as fellow allied health professionals to provide comprehensive care. I am adept in working with neonates, infants and children with various developmental needs such as global developmental delay, complex medical and neurological conditions, and orthopaedic issues such as torticollis, flat head, clubfoot, tiptoeing, in-toeing and out-toeing gait issues. I was also involved in the development of the Early Childhood Holistic Outcomes (ECHO) framework, contributing directly to the training and coaching of early intervention professionals in EIPIC centres across Singapore.
My clinical interest lies in working with young children and early intervention. As a mother of two, I intimately understand the importance of family-centred practice while making it fun and strives to ensure that every child receives personalised care that resonates with their family’s aspirations and values.
Throughout my career, I am deeply honoured to have been recognised with prestigious awards, including the Gold Medal from the Singapore Health Quality Service Awards and the Service from the Heart Award, reflecting my dedication to providing exceptional care to every child and family I work with.
